    Digital Communications & Marketing Officer
    Ref: 717/DCO
    Location: Flexible working across the organisation's offices in Lambeth, Hackney & Islington (from home during Covid-19 social distancing measures)
    Contract: 12 months
    Salary: Circa £23,000 per annum

    Hours: 37.5 hours

    Our client is looking for a strong team player with a creative approach to communicating with and engaging audiences online.

    The Digital Communications & Marketing Officer will join the busy Marketing and Communications Team with a focus on ensuring that digital content and online engagement tools are; maximising the organisation's reach, in line with current best practices and aligned to the brand and communications strategy.

    Ideally you will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role in the charity, public or private sector.

    They are looking for someone who has the following digital marketing and communication skills and experience:

    • Strong, proven digital communication skills, with experience of successfully mobilising campaigns, projects or business activity online
    • Experience in writing and implementing digital communications plans for projects or campaigns
    • The ability to communicate compelling stories and key messages to specific target audiences through a variety of digital mediums
    • Proven ability to produce high quality digital content using images, video and text
    • Strong copywriting skills, particularly for digital content, including for a range of social media platforms
    • Knowledge of basic-intermediate graphic design principles and experience of applying them when producing digital content
    • A good working knowledge of Adobe CC Photoshop or Illustrator for creating visual content
    • Video and / or sound recording and editing experience for the purpose of producing digital content
    • Experience in building and / or editing Wordpress websites
