    Within SDS’ Evaluation and Research team, there are two internship posts which offer the chance to support evaluation and research work across several key strands across SDS: Careers Information, Advice and Guidance, Corporate Research, Employability Services, Employer Services and Work Based Learning.

    The responsibilities of the successful candidates will be to support the delivery of evaluation and research projects for SDS. You’ll liaise with SDS staff at all levels to ensure the provision of accurate and fit for purpose evaluation and research that meets their requirements. You’ll also be required to support the team in the administration of events and workshops.

    About You

    To be successful you must be educated to degree level (SCQF level 9) preferably in a relevant subject such as social sciences, economics or statistics, with a substantial research component.

    You’ll need to be a team player with a working knowledge of information sources. You must also have experience of supporting high quality research, have a good knowledge of research techniques and tools and be able to demonstrate competence in data analysis and report writing.

    You should have robust organisational and time management skills, and an ability to complete assignments to a high level of quality and accuracy.
