Meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean Network of Social Economy (ESMED Network)
Since 2000, the Spanish Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) coordinates the Euro-Mediterranean Network of the Social Economy (ESMED), as the institutional reference platform of the Social Economy in the scope of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), which is the international organization that promotes political, economic and social cooperation in the region that includes the 28 Member States of the European Union and 15 Mediterranean Countries.
Since its creation in 2000, the ESMED Network has focused on strengthening cooperation between the Social Economy of the North and South of the Mediterranean from criteria of solidarity, cooperation and business efficiency, in order to provoke development actions.
On this occasion, the meeting of the ESMED Network will be framed in the European capital of the Social Economy of Toledo, city of three cultures and symbol of mutual understanding.
