The newsletter is an initiative of CIRIEC-Spain in partnership with CIRIEC-International, which aims to be the newsletter with the greatest global impact on the sector of cooperatives, mutuals, social enterprises, associations and foundations, with an epicenter in the European Union but with all the relevant information on the sector on each of the continents. The newsletter will initially be published in three languages: Spanish, French and English.
It is intended that the ‘Social Economy News’ reaches more than 50,000 subscribers from all over the world with relevant information from the social economy sector as a whole and from each of its families and representative entities.
The event will feature the interventions of Bernard Thiry, director of CIRIEC-International; José Luis Monzón, director of Social Economy News; José Juan Cabezuelo, content coordinator of Social Economy News, and Juan Antonio Pedreño, president of CEPES and of Social Economy Europe.
The same event commemorates the 100 issues of “CIRIEC-Spain, the Journal of Public, Social and Cooperative Economy” which, after 35 years of history, has established itself as one of the economics scientific journals with the greatest impact and prestige.
Likewise, the presentation of the new CIRIEC-Spain Directory of Researchers will take place, by Adoración Mozas, president of CIRIEC-Spain. The Directory is published after two years of work, in which the data of 370 Spanish university researchers, 25 researchers working in non-university institutions and 160 foreign researchers have been collected.
