    Do you have experience creating footfall-driving marketing campaigns, or running a busy press office? Can you play a part in building on the existing profile of one of Bradford's key visitor attractions?

    The National Science & Media Museum (NSMM) in Bradford, as part of the Science Museum Group (SMG), is here to inspire futures. As part of this strategic priority our Marketing and Communication teams have a critical role to play in increasing our reach, driving footfall, promoting our brand and ensuring our programming is audience focused.

    We are now looking for a Communications Manager to lead our team of Marketing and Press professionals at NSMM on a permanent basis. As Communications Manager, you will lead the team in developing and implementing high impact, cost-effective, integrated communications strategies that are on-brand and deliver against targets to increase footfall and income. You will take day to day responsibility for reputation management at the Museum, advocating on behalf of the Museum Director, NSMM Senior Leadership Team and wider organisation with a range of stakeholders. You will develop key relationships with external stakeholders including cinema partners, City of Film and local council and education organisations.

    Joining us, you will have experience of running a press office with high profile media campaigns behind you, or will have experience of creating and delivering footfall-driving marketing campaigns. You will have excellent influencing skills along with people management experience. As Communications Manager, you will be collaborative and comfortable managing key stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. You will need to have experience of using data to inform marketing or press campaigns, and will be able to drive revenue by making the most of commercial opportunities.
