TITLEPERIOD 2000-2006

The European Commission, in a report dated January 12, 2001which deals with the implementation of the innovative actions described in Art. 6 of Regulation 1784/1999 of the European Social Fund, explains the way in which it intends to make use of the possibilities offered by these projects.

In this way, the general principles that will regulate the innovative actions to be developed within the programming period 2000-2006 are described, among which several should be highlighted, such as those of innovation and experimentation, those of support to the general programmes and those of concentration, complementarity, association and equality of opportunities.

    The Official Journal of the European Community dated 02/07/1999 announces the project "Adaptation to the new economy within the framework of social dialogue", where the following priorities to be reached are established:

Contenido de la pagina2002- Local Strategies of Employment and Innovation.

One of the priorities for the years 2001-2002 is the support of actions directed to the development of local strategies of employment to strengthen the implementation of the European Employment Strategy at a local level.

The summoning published in the Official Journal of the European Community C 306 of October 31, 2001, aims at the co-financing of innovative projects within this priority. They can include, among others, the following activities:

For the period 2004 to 2006, Article 6 will support the development and testing of innovative measures to anticipate and manage change under the overarching theme of “Innovative approaches to the managemont of change”.

The summoning was published in the OJEU C262 the 31-10.2003 and it aims to the co-financing innovative measures will focus on two more specific sub-themes

The OJEU C292 (30-11-200) publish the call for proposals “Transfer and dissemination of innovation from ESF Article 6 projects”.

This call for proposals relates to the transfer and dissemination of innovatory approaches and methods that have been developed by Article 6 projects in the 2000 to 2006 programming period.
