11º) What is the procedure to set up a Development Partnership is the framework of the EQUAL Initiative ?

A Development Partnership of an EQUAL project proposal must be composed of different partners, with at least two of them with different legal status (public authorities, social partners, NGOs, enterprises) who will agree to name an organisation as a representative. This organisation must have capacity to manage public funds, assume financial and administrative liabilities, and act as interlocutor with regard to the UAFSE. .

The DP shall bring together relevant actors within a geographical area or an economic sector to tackle an identified common problem related to discrimination and inequality in connection with the labour market.

EQUAL shall test innovative solutions to tackle identified problems in a given area or economic sector and in connection with discrimination and inequality in the labour market. This shall be done by optimizing existing resources and co-ordinating the relevant actors that intervene in the development of human resources.
