Frequent Asked Questions

2º) Is there a percentage set concerning DPs? Is it better to be a geographical or sectoral DP?

The reasons to create a geographical or a sectoral DP would depend on the problem to be tackled, and on the better way to find a solution. If discrimination and inequality situations are detected in a given place, the DP will be geographical. If an industrial or economic sector has a specific problem, those actors involved in this sector will meet to work within it, and thus it will be a sectoral DP. In some cases, sectoral DPs may concentrate on a specific target population.

The budget draft grants more funds for geographic projects than for sectoral projects.
