3º) What is the territorial extent for DPs’ activity?

There is no specific territorial extent for sectoral or geographical projects.

A geographical DP shall tackle human resource problems issued from the economic and social situation of a given territory, and must provide an integrated solution for that area. Such DP shall bring together relevant actors in a specific geographical area, for instance a neighbourhood, a city, several cities with the same problems, a region, etc.

A sectoral DP shall tackle human resource problems related to an industry or a specific economic sector or, exceptionally, shall tackle discrimination against one or several target groups. In both cases, DPs should create an appropriate partnership capable of providing solutions adjusted to the characteristics of the sector or the target population.

Nevertheless, in general, SECTORAL projects are expected to operate beyond the territory of the Autonomous Community, with a multi-regional approach.

With regard to geographical projects, they should not operate in the very territory of the Autonomous Community, because there are already general programs of the ESF by means of the Community Support Frameworks.
