The Ministry of Labour and Social Economy and the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration present the Labour Guide, the content of which has been updated as of April 7, 2021. This publication, prepared within the framework of the policy of information and services for citizens, is based on the regulations governing the various services and services of both departments and is aimed at meeting the demand for information from institutions, professionals and people in general interested in matters within their competence, in order to facilitate the exercise of rights and the fulfillment of the social and labour obligations of citizens. |

The most significant new features in this edition, in addition to the Royal Decree 2/2020 of 12 January, which structures the ministerial departments, dividing the former Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration into two, it must be highlighted, among others, are the following: Royal Decree 463/2020 of 14 March, declaring the state of alarm for the management of the health crisis caused by COVID-19, which results in a profuse publication of emergency regulations of a temporary nature with a more than notable impact on the activity of companies and workers, such as the Royal Decree-Law 8/2020, of 17 March, on extraordinary urgent measures to address the economic and social impact of COVID-19; Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, of 21 April; Royal Decree-Law 15/2020, of 21 April or Royal Decree-Law 2/2021, of 26 January, on the strengthening and consolidation of social measures in defense of employment. As to stay in time, mention should be made of Royal Decree-Law 20/2020, of 29 May, which establishes the minimum living income and Royal Decree-Law 28/2020, of 22 September, on remote work; Royal Decree 901/2020, of 13 October, regulates equality plans and their registration, Royal Decree 902/2020, on equal pay for women and men and, in another order, Royal Decree 46/2021, of 26 January, on revaluation of pensions in the Social Security system, Passive Class pensions and other public social benefits for the financial year 2021. It should also be noted Royal Decree-Law 38/2020 of 29 December, adopting measures to adapt to the Third state situation of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. |

Since its initial publication in 1987, it has been published annually, except in 2020 due to the pandemic, exceeding one million two hundred thousand copies, and in its electronic version it is the most visited page of the departmental website, which guarantees its consolidation as a pillar of information on labour, Social Security and migration in the set of actions aimed at transparency and the attention of citizens in the General Administration of the State. |
