The internet domain mites.gob.es is owned by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy.

This Ministry informs you that accessing and using the website www.mites.gob.es and all the subdomains and directories included thereunder (hereinafter, jointly called the portal), as well as the services or content that can be obtained through it, are subject to the terms of this Legal notice, without prejudice to the fact that access to some of these services or content might require the acceptance of additional general conditions.

Therefore, if you do not accept the considerations set out in this Legal notice, we ask you to please refrain from using the portal, as any use you make thereof, or of the services and content included therein will imply the acceptance of the legal terms in this notice.

The Ministry reserves the right to make changes to the portal without advance notice in order to update, rectify, amend, add or delete the content on the portal or its design. The content and services offered by the portal are updated periodically. In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and Article 11 of Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December 2018 on Personal Data Protection and guaranteeing digital rights, you are informed that any personal data provided via the forms available on the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy portals and its associated public service websites shall be processed in accordance with the regulations in force for each Processing Activity, the characteristics of which are set out in accordance with Article 30 GDPR in the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy’s Register of Processing Activities.

The legitimacy of the processing may be based on the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller, on compliance with a legal obligation, the consent of the data subjects or any of the other grounds specified in Article 6 GDPR. The Ministry of Labour and Social Economy undertakes to maintain the strictest confidence and confidentiality regarding any information it receives and will only use it for the purposes of the processing concerned.

The data will be collected through the relevant forms, which will only contain the fields necessary for the processing of the benefits or services requested, and they will be retained for the time needed to perform the services, based on the legislation in force regarding the time-limit for liability. The data subject is responsible for updating their own data; the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy will not be liable for any inaccuracies in the data if any changes that may have taken place are not communicated.

The data subject may exercise, in the terms set out in the GDPR, their rights of access to, rectification and erasure of personal data, the right to data portability, the right to limit and object to processing, as well as not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing of their data, including profiling, before the data controller.
