 Innovative
actions are those which are implemented at a community level
and at the initiative of the Commission and are intended to
support and improve different community interventions. They
may consist of measures which include studies, pilot projects
and exchange of experiences, or of the preparation of methods
and practices which increase their quality, for the purpose
of transferring them to the programmes for priority objectives
or community initiatives.
Projects in this category are undertaken in accordance with
the guidelines published to that respect by the European Commission,
usually on a yearly basis.
