Subdirectorate General for Self-Employment
Participation in the design of public policies to boost and promote self-employment and to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and culture, as well as in the design, management and monitoring of aid for the promotion of self-employment and its organisations.
Drafting, promoting and/or reporting on draft regulations and specific measures for the self-employed and entrepreneurs.
The administrative activities of qualification, registration and certification of the acts that must have access to the State Register of professional associations of self-employed workers.
The coordination and technical support necessary for the functioning of the state councils and other forms of participation that may be implemented within the scope of their competences.
Monitoring of the loans granted by the defunct National Fund for the Protection of Labour and those which, after its extinction, were granted for the same purpose under the General State Budget.
The carrying out of studies, statistics, reports and research work, as well as the coordination of the information and statistical systems that may be entrusted to it and, in particular, those that have an impact on the matters within its competence, without prejudice to the competences of the Technical Secretariat General.
