These are Associations constituted in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 1/2002, of 22 March, regulating the Right of Association and previously registered in the National Register of Associations, which depends on the Ministry of the Interior.
They group together natural persons included in article 1 of Law 20/2007, of 11 July, on the Statute of Self-Employment.
They may not be for profit.
They carry out their activity in the territory of the State, i.e. they cannot have more than 50% of their members domiciled in an Autonomous Community.
The name and the Statutes have to refer to their subjective speciality and objectives:
- Subjective: Self-employed workers.
- Objectives: Defence of their professional interests and complementary functions, article 19.2 of the Statute of Self-Employment.
