Order of 5 December 2023 of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, which calls for grants for the Integral Plan for the Promotion of Social Economy for the generation of an inclusive and sustainable economic fabric, within the framework of the RTRP. | Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain. The objectives to be achieved by means of this aid are as follows:

1. Programmes to create and maintain jobs in viable companies in difficulty or without generational replacement, by transforming them into Social Economy enterprises (cooperatives and worker-owned companies) managed by their workers.
2. Programmes to create and consolidate the productive framework of the Social Economy with an innovative character, focusing on generational change and youth entrepreneurship.
3. Transformative projects to support the technological modernisation of social economy enterprises by creating digital platforms, automating processes and using technological tools to improve citizens' welfare, especially in rural areas.
4. Encourage networks of cooperatives, worker-owned enterprises and other Social Economy models, accompanied by capacity building and training, to provide new comprehensive services to society.
5. Programmes for the promotion of sustainable and inclusive transitions of Social Economy enterprises and groups in vulnerable situations.

The Social Economy Special Commission, established on 14 February 2023 under the Ministry for Labour and Social Economy, is the body responsible for driving, promoting and coordinating all projects related to the ‘Social and Care Economy’ Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (SPERT).

The following actions have also been undertaken with these funds:

1. Contract for the design of two methodologies within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan: one for the creation of insertion companies and the other for the creation of cooperatives.

2. Contract to create eleven videos to present the social economy as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, an economy at the service of people and the planet.

3. Contract for the design of 3 guides: one on the promotion of social entrepreneurship for primary school students, another for compulsory secondary school students and another for higher education students, as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
