The Ministry of Labour and Social Economy's actions targeting the social economy are included in the RTRP's Component 23 ‘New public policies for a dynamic, resilient and inclusive labour market’, Investment 6 ‘Integral plan for the promotion of the social economy for the creation of an inclusive and sustainable economic fabric’.
The development of this integral plan for the promotion of the social economy will be mainly through the award of grants on a competitive basis to social economy entities, in accordance with article 5 of Law 5/2011 of 29 March on the social economy through:

The objectives to be achieved by means of this aid are as follows:
The Social Economy Special Commission, established on 14 February 2023 under the Ministry for Labour and Social Economy, is the body responsible for driving, promoting and coordinating all projects related to the ‘Social and Care Economy’ Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (SPERT).
The following actions have also been undertaken with these funds:
1. Contract for the design of two methodologies within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan: one for the creation of insertion companies and the other for the creation of cooperatives.

2. Contract to create eleven videos to present the social economy as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, an economy at the service of people and the planet.
